The gastronomy in the Putumayo in quite varied and exquisite. There are a lot of dishes there that can be found all with the sole purpose of giving taste to the tourist and the local inhabitants. Among all the dishes that can be found we have: El tacacho, a puré that is prepared with green banana; wrapped with corn, the juices of Amazonian fruits produce typical flavors of Mocoa and the department of Putumayo, wrapped in corn, wrapped in cassava, Caimarón wine, chicha de arracacha, juice of carambolo, among many other typical dishes that are a True treat to satisfy our stomach. The department of Putumayo excels in its gastronomic culture by the unique flavor of its foods and drinks.
