Wild Pig

The boar is a mammal, family of domestic pigs, and with characteristics very similar to these. The males live in groups with other males, and the females live with their young in large groups, which protect each other. They have an elongated snout with very large nostrils, their fangs are curved upwards, reaching about 30 centimeters long. Its fur is short and hard, dark gray. Wild boar has its origins in Africa and Eurasia, but over time they have been introduced to America, Australia and New Zealand. They live in places with a lot of vegetation, which helps them to camouflage themselves, and they are usually kept near water sources. They are herbivores and feed on roots, larvae, earthworms, small vertebrates, insects, acorns, herbs, bulbs and tubers.
